The old title didn’t really seem to fit the spirit of this blog anymore, so I have renamed it once again.
Up until pretty recently, I was never sure whether the blog was going to be a forever thing or just a passing interest. It started out in 2007 as a way to document my road trip, and then it seemed like a good forum for sharing a few tips about gardening and homesteading, and then it was a sanity-saving emotional outlet when my marriage ended and I was figuring out where to go from there, and then it turned out to be a great way to describe our adventures in DFW. And then at some point I realized that the blog was probably going to be a part of my life for as long as I enjoy writing and taking pictures, so I went ahead and bought the web domain. You can update your bookmarks to dsilkotch.com, or the old links should redirect here indefinitely.
