This was the view from our living-room window yesterday morning:
Luke loved it, and spent a good part of the day out frolicking in it…
…while the rest of us enjoyed it from a distance, through the window, next to a roaring fire.
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas….
heh…in our neck of the woods, a ‘cold front’ blew through and dropped us from 72 down to 50 (overnight low 42) and my nephew immediately started talking about lighting a fire to roast marshmallows.

Hey, 50ΒΊ *totally* merits a fire and a marshmallow roast!
I wonder if one can toast marshmallows over a woodburning stove?
Note to self: put marshmallows on shopping list.
Btw, have you seen those really ginormous marshmallows they have in grocery stores now? I bet a kid could make a truly impressive mess with one or two of those!

Andrew loves S’mores so he’s had a fire laid for a week now and couldn’t do it last night because it was just before bedtime when the front came through. He talked his Granddad into doing the fire tonight, along with hot chocolate and story-telling.
No, not christmas stories, unfortunately. He wants to hear the gory stories of all the injuries my father used to get when he was growing up and running wild. I guess it’s a ‘guy’ thing. π

LOL! That’s good though — it’s always nice to see the generations bonding. π
We’re supposed to get more snow tomorrow. I hear there’s an ice storm headed your way!

No, that’s Aaron and Aron that are going to get snow/ice. Down here (San Antonio) we’ve got fog. Heck, tomorrow is supposed to be 81 for the high. π

I keep forgetting how far south you are. Fog’s not so bad…you can *pretend* it’s snow, right?

Purty!
We’ve dropped forty degrees since Saturday. 37 degrees was our high today. And wet! It’s been drizzlin’ all day.
Yech.

Eeyick! That doesn’t sound like much fun, Aron!
Stay warm and *please* drive safely when that rain ices over. The world would be a much less interesting place without you in it, my friend. :^)

For some reason I’ve always pictured NJ as a snowy sort of place. Sorry you don’t get the fun white stuff!
