This was one of my favorite chapters in the whole game. It establishes that Casey is basically honest and trustworthy because she chooses to be — because she recognizes the profound value of honesty and trustworthiness — and not because she lacks tactical skills. I think the GM was intrigued by that concept, because he started tossing little tests at her after this scene, presumably to test the strength of her ethical convictions. I found them highly entertaining. It’s always fun to learn new things about your own character via someone else’s curiosity.
